Julie Atherton is one of the West End's most versatile entertainers. With a distinctive voice and unmatched comic timing, she is best known for her leading stage credits which include Just For One Day, Avenue Q, Sister Act, Mamma Mia, Fame, Lift, The Last 5 Years and Therese Raquin.
In addition to featuring on various cast albums, Julie is a recording artist with a growing catalogue of solo albums, as well as being a YouTube comedy sensation with over one million hits.
The Preston-born star is also well known as a supporter of new writing in musical theatre, and now joins the ranks of directors developing new musicals.
